Optimizing Netgear R7000 on DD-WRT 1300Mbps Airtime Fairness

I took the time to get some speed out of the Netgear R7000.
Using DD-WRT v3.0-r31160M
Looks like airtime fairness was the culprit. If you mostly have few clients hanging around you should disable this.

Regulatory Domain: US
(this is important BUT check whether the channel frequency you will select is allowed in your country. Add 80 MHz to the starting frequency to see where it ends so you are in range.)

Running on a Macbook Pro 15″ late 2013 model. Your client needs to support 3×3 antenna setup to get full speed. There is a post here. It should be a 3×3 antenna. I think it’s capped because of the regulatory domain (country) on my device.
